Robin Antar, the award-winning artist and stone sculptor from New York, will be taking her work on the road, as she is going to exhibit her works in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Her works are going to be featured in an exhibit called Paint, Photography, and Sculpture at Marji Gallery.
At her exhibit, Ms. Antar will be presenting her contemporary sculpture collection, which includes her famous Work Boots, Cowboy Boots, Loafers, and other representational sculptures that capture American culture. In addition to being able to see the realism that Ms. Antar has created with her modern sculptures, visitors will be able to meet Ms. Antar and receive a signed poster from the exhibition on Friday August 6 from 4-7 PM and Saturday August 7 from 11 AM to 3 PM.

The Marji Gallery is located at 233 Canyon Road, Sante Fe, and it is the third largest art market in the USA. The gallery hosts some of the most talented American and international artists, as they feature many different styles of art. With the wide array of styles possessed by the artists, Marji Gallery showcases abstract sculpture, western sculpture, contemporary photography, and conceptual art, just to name a few.
If you live in the Sante Fe area, enjoy Sante Fe art, and you have never seen the works of Robin Antar, I suggest that you check out her art and meet the sculptor on August 6-7. Her works will be on display after she goes back to NY.
In September 2007 Ms. Antar was named in the Best of America Sculpture Artists, and renamed again in 2010. Her art has appeared in museum exhibitions, galleries, corporate offices, and universities, ranging from New York City to St. Louis. Her works were recently seen at the Blue Hill Cultural Center in Pearl River, NY as part of the “Made in America” exhibition. Ms. Antar’s sculptures have also graced the display windows of Paul Stewart’s flagship NYC store, located on Madison Avenue.

Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!
