Robin Antar Featured in SculpturesPacific Magazine

Robin Antar, the Brooklyn artist known for her incredible stone sculptures of realism, was recently featured in the sixth issue of SculpturesPacific magazine. SculpturesPacific Magazine is a free online sculpture magazine that focuses on sculpture artists from the Pacific Northwest. The first issue of the magazine came out in the summer of 2010, and it has remained successful since that point.

Antar, who has sculpted everything from representational sculptures to abstract sculptures, is being recognized for her amazing ability to take a piece of stone and turn it into whatever she pleases. Just take one look at one of her contemporary sculptures, and it will be obvious why she receives so many accolades for her hard work. It will also be evident that she is doing what she is supposed to be doing, as she seems to have a natural ability to communicate effectively through the medium of stone.

In the last few months, Ms. Antar has been featured in countless art exhibitions, had her work shown in various publications, and has been a guest on radio shows. The reason her work has gotten so much buzz is because of the dedication and focus she has put into her craft. It also helps that she has been working with stone for many years. Sure many artists spend time making modern sculptures of their own, but not all of them possess the “it” factor that Ms. Antar possesses.
